Artist Statement
I've been doing sculptural ceramics as a lifelong career, one that has paid off handsomely. Greatly influenced by nature and mythos and totem histories, I use these in my work. The thrown vessel is just the jumping off point for me; carving and hand sculpting are the hallmarks of my work. Using airbrushed matte underglazes my work still can function but most often is purely sculptural. All work is signed and dated.
