Are you looking to get more involved in OPA?

The OPA Summer Sale will be July 12-14 from 9am to 5pm and we are looking for volunteers. The Summer Sale will be held at Portland Nursery on Stark and we expect this to be a well attended event. It includes over 40 OPA ceramic artists. If you are looking to get involved in OPA, meet members, and talk about pottery and techniques, this is a wonderful time to volunteer in the OPA information booth. Your responsibility would be to hangout at the OPA info booth and tell patrons about the Oregon Potters Association. Information will be provided at the booth and anyone from veteran to brand new members are welcome. No experience necessary! If you are interested, please reach out to Dennis ( or Connie (

The OPA High School Scholarship is open to all high school juniors and seniors living in Oregon and SW Washington and will award $1000 to a student who shows creative and technical excellence in the field of ceramics. Applications are due in March.
