Artist Statement
I take my inspiration from history and nature. I create both functional and sculptural work- I am most happy when I can unite both in one piece!
Biography
I was born and raised in Montana and have lived in many places in the US and in Germany. I began working with clay in 2003 and have had my own studio since 2012. My clay education includes classes taken at colleges in Washington, Virginia, and Oregon. I am a past member of the Shenandoah Potters Guild and have displayed/sold pieces at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley and The Shenandoah Arts Counsel gallery. I am a current member of the Three Rivers Art Guild in Oregon City.
