Artist Statement

My interest is in creating elegant contemporary forms with abstract finishes. I use wax or cut vinyl resist or sometimes carve or texture the piece to add the surface. The tension between the perfected form and imperfect visual intrigues me.

Biography

I’ve been a potter since 2011. I've studied at the Multnomah Arts Center, Archie Bray Foundation, Mendocino Art Center, Clatsop Community College, and Hoffman Center for the Arts. I bring a background of professional visual design.
