Biography
I worked and made my living as an ecological landscape designer from 1984-2015 and I have taught environmental science and outdoor environmental education. I have a BFA, BS in landscape design and horticulture, and a Masters degree in environmental science and education. I began my cermanics career in 2000 and balanced working in my studio and making a living as a landscape designer from 2000 to 2015 when I retired and moved it Portland, Oregon. Each year I had a art show and sale with 8 to 10 other ceramists and sold my work. I sold nearly all my ceramic peices before leaving Pennsylvania. Now I have more time in my studio throwing, carving, handbuilding sculptural piecs, creating tiles that look like landscapes.
