Artist Statement
I live on the Oregon coast and can't love it more. I enjoy hikes and storm watching. My body of work with clay is an homage to the nature around me. I enjoy earthy glazes with the texture of raw clay. Using oxides to get a different look, but keeping the texture.
Biography
I have been an artist my whole life, but have only recently starting throwing on the wheel over the last five years. I studied sculptural ceramics at Wester Oregon University and knew I want to become a potter.
