Although we cannot gather together, Showcase 2021 is coming to you and our patrons virtually!The OPA Showcase team & the Gathering of the Guilds team are creating a website to direct patrons to participating members’ information page. Your page will feature current photos of your work, a short artist statement and your preferred sales method – online, email, in-person or through social media. It will be your choice to offer shipping or studio pick up.
The fee to participate is just $40 and no commissions will be taken. This will go towards building the website & launching a marketing campaign. Additional costs will be borne by our Showcase reserves. Going forward we hope to include a robust website for every Ceramic Showcase. (2022 will see us back at the Oregon Convention Center.)
You must be a current OPA member to register. New members are eligible to participate.
Our target dates for the event are April 30- May 1-2, but the website will be active through the end of the year. Our publicity team is already working on a strategy to be sure our patrons know we have pivoted to this new format for 2021.
Your commitment in brief:
- Now - March 1st - $40;
- March 2nd - March 15th $50
(no refunds for cancellation)
After you register & pay online, you will have until March 31st to pull your information and images together. Your photos will need to be current and represent the type of work available for sale. You will be sent a link to upload your information for your detail page.
