The workshop will take you on a virtual mini tour to India's textile market - from my home studio. I will show you 3 different types of textiles, simplify the designs to get the essence of the design concept and then show how to adapt them on ceramics using different techniques like Scgraffito, slip trailing and painting.

You Will Learn:

  1. Understanding the textile and the design concept so to simplify and create your own drawings.
  2. How to adapt and transfer these drawings onto the ceramic pieces.
  3. Using different techniques to achieve the effect that you want.

  • 3 leather hard ceramic pieces or tiles

  • Amaco velvet underglazes
