Mark your calendars for our 40th anniversary! In 1983, Ceramic Showcase started with over 70 Oregon Potters Association members; this year we’re featuring 200, including some of our original founders and today’s emerging artists. We’re busy planning special events and activities for the whole family to enjoy. We hope you’ll join us for this 3-day event on April 28-30, 2023!

Highlights:
•  NEW – 40th Founders Gallery
– Founders of the original 1983 Ceramic Showcase are either exhibiting or selling work from the past and present. 
•  NEW – Silent auction featuring work by Ellen Currans - an esteemed OPA and Ceramic Showcase founder as well as customer favorite - will raise funds for OPA.
•  NEW – This year’s OPA Clay in Education fundraiser theme is: Cheers to 40 Years! The sale features drinking vessels such as mugs, steins, cups, etc, all donated by OPA members and studio partners. Money raised pays for OPA members to teach ceramics in Oregon schools at no cost to the schools.
•  NEW – Two shopping “happy hours” hosted by OPA in Hall A1 on Friday from 3-7pm and Saturday from 4-6pm. Cash bar.
•  Emerging Artists Booth features up-and-coming members.
•  3 Grand Prize Packages from all 6 guilds – winners are drawn on Sunday night!
•  Clay Exploration Area for children featuring demonstrations of hand-building techniques from professional potters.
•  Pottery demonstrations by professionals, interesting for the whole family.
•  Clay in Education supports a High School Scholarship booth and award each year. The winner receives a $1,000.00 scholarship to the College or University of their choice.  
•  The High School Gallery displays student clay works from area schools, exhibiting what they are learning and making this school year.
•  Main Gallery features a rotating selection of the finest work by participating members.
