    Loading/Firing: March 28-30, 2025 (Fri-Sun), starting at 10:00am

    Unloading: Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 11:00am

    All experience levels welcome! (Though be prepared to jump in with minimal instruction)

    Participants should attend the loading, at least one day of firing, and the unloading

    One 8-hour kiln shift per participant

    CONE 10 CLAY only - all pieces must be bisque fired

    Some glazes will be available and all wadding provided

Cost: $199 per seat includes 4 cu ft (always bring your extras too)

Experience the magic as these renowned artist from Oaxaca discover the transformative power of Cone 10 wood-firing for the first time! Work alongside Joe Robinson's crew to help us fire both the ChickenCat and FishCat kilns in this special OPA Member Firing.

This is a rare opportunity to share your wood-firing knowledge while learning from these celebrated Mexican ceramic artists who typically work with completely different firing traditions. Create memories and connections that transcend borders!

What to know:

  • Each Participant is asked to work at least One 8-hour kiln shift (asked but not required)
