Artist Statement
I am a handbuilder,I work with slabs of clay and use a variety of textures on my pieces . I’ve been working with the medium of clay for over 40 years. Earthy, natural and nature themes. I've also been collaborating with metal artists.
The lure to the studio is like treasure hunting...when I'm doing production pieces, utilitarian....some unknown piece starts creating itself.....i adore the process!
