CLAYWORKS FOR COMMUNITY

Formerly Empty Bowls

Members have the opportunity to create work, glaze pieces, work the booth at the Blues Festival, and even sell their own wares at the big event.

The Oregon Potters Association Clayworks for Community program partners with Fuller Events and Georgie's Ceramic & Clay to provide a booth at the Waterfront Blues Festival.

Potters and ceramic students of all ages donate their art throughout the year to be sold at the booth. The proceeds from the sale are donated to the Portland Sunshine Division, which in turn provides food assistance to over 1200 families a month.

The Waterfront Blues Festival is held every summer during the July 4th weekend at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park in Portland.
