John Hasegawa is Now OPA'S Development Chair

During the retreat in January, the OPA board decided to explore the feasibility of obtaining a physical space for the organization.

The purpose of such a space would be to serve as a hub for various OPA activities, including ceramics classes, workshops, meetings, and
events. This is viewed as a significant step in the organization's efforts to fulfill its vision of " Educate, Inspire, & Transform Lives
Through Clay.

A committee composed of OPA members will convene to investigate space needs, possible locations, and create a business plan. The committee will also provide regular progress updates to the board and OPA membership.

Taking the lead in this effort is John Hasegawa, who has joined the OPA board as the Development Chair. He will be assisted by
Twig Cosby, Joe Robinson, Janet Buskirk, Samuel Newman, and Becky Clark.
