Why Join the Oregon Potters Association

The Oregon Potters Association supports opportunities to advance creativity through activities with clay. It is a professional organization that promotes clay art education through community outreach, workshops, and networking. OPA encourages our members’ personal growth through continuing education opportunities and exposure to national and international ceramic art perspectives. The OPA is involved with many programs to be able to give back to the community. Including scholarships, clay in education programs, and involvement in empty bowls. Members are active participants in these programs, and part of the proceeds from membership dues help fund most of these programs.

Vacant Board and Coordinators Positions

We are always are looking for volunteers. If you are looking to help out, a great way to get involved in the organization is to attend one of the OPA board and coordinators meeting or a Showcase organization meeting. All members are always welcome to attend these meetings. The public is welcome to visit our General
